A CHEESE LOVER, ARE YOU? ONLY 3 CHEESES TO MAKE YOUR DISHES EXTRA CHEESY TODAY

Cheese is a popular dairy product and it is also a widely loved product. Pizza, burger or pasta, extra cheese is simply mandatory!
A dairy product, cheese making is a fine ancient process. Cheese differs in flavor and texture, appearance and source of milk, consistency and processing techniques.

CHEESE VARIATIONS
Variations in cheese come because of the source of milk which can be from cow, goat or sheep, the processing techniques for cheese, bacteria that have been used for the fermentation process of milk and also because of the fat content in milk.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF MILK FOR CHEESE
Milk from cow creates sweet, creamy and buttery cheeses. Cow’s milk contains a higher amount of fat than goat’s milk, but less than sheep. Goat’s milk contains less fat and it tastes fresh and lite with an added tangy flavor. Goat’s milk is also easier to digest as it contains low lactose. Sheep’s milk is rich in butterfat and it thus creates rich, fatty, nutty-tasting cheeses.

CHEESE CATEGORIES
Cheese can have not one, not two but many categories. Classically speaking, these are some select categories of cheese. These are fresh cheese, hard cheese, semi-soft cheese, semi-hard cheese, blue-veined cheese, soft-ripened cheese and washed rind cheese.
